Thoughts on Change: A Creative Introspection

Long time no see! I missed you guys :/
I am BEYOND grateful to have this break from my coursework so that I can allot some energy to connecting with you all :)
A large part of the reason I have been gone from this site is because November has truly TESTED my mental health and stability. WHEWWWWW CHILE!
Three months of being away from home, midterm seasons(yes, there's more than one), endless post-graduation contemplations, and seasonal depression just make the scariest cocktail XP!!
But all jokes aside, I am so grateful for the lightness and creativity I feel as the semester comes to a close. With this new breath of freedom, I have had the capacity (and privilege) to reflect on what the hell has been happening the past month:
Shifts in my opinions on what to do after graduating, plans to travel abroad next month, difficult conversations in my close relationships, and changes in my friendship dynamics.
While these factors made me feel restricted, tired, and fearful at one point, I can now see the tremendous amount of change that was being undertaken in my life (and the Earth!! Like where did leaves on the trees go...).
Made apparent by the shorter days, chillier mornings, awkward conversations, and constant new opinions, change is here to STAY (and therefore worth thinking critically about). Maybe you've made this conclusion for yourself already(put your friends on then!). Like it seems rather intuitive, right?
But then I find myself crying over a lost friendship or see my friend hesitating to speak up in their new job--and maybe what I'm saying isn't SO obvious?
Anyways, remember when I said that spooky November cocktail had me feeling uncreative? The good news is that I'm freed!!!
When I finally felt that my head was above water, about two weeks ago(maybe one lol) I was hungry for a means to communicate my findings about change that constantly rang in my head.
I wanted to shout from the rooftops: Embrace the transitions in your life for they are leading you to the highest path.
But that sounds too spiritual, right?
How does this sound: While it can feel scary and stressful, change is the only constant in life. So just accept it!
Maybe that's too forceful.
Keeping in mind that photos are a universal language of their own and people don't care to read long philosophical messages when scrolling online(mainly this one), I decided to create.....................................(drumroll please)............................
STICKERS!!!!!!!
Guys!!! I am beyond proud and excited to introduce my fall sticker collection made up of two original designs. Each one of these characters feels like a manifestation of all the struggles, lessons, confusion, and (eventually) reflections I have had on change in the past month.
I believe them to hold a universal meaning that we ALL experience change ALL the time, so why not make it cute?? With these holographic and mirrored 3x3" stickers(just $4), I encourage you all to celebrate the transitions in life as they allow us to savor memories, envision new realities, and switch shit up.
I hope you were able to resonate with my discovery, have a giggle or revelation of your own! I encourage you to stay creative, take time for reflection, and find reasons to celebrate life.
Until next time, pals
XOXO Lexi Lee
